Digital Photography Adjunct Instructors Needed
Adjunct Instructors needed to teach Digital Photography courses beginning January 22, 2019 until May 10, 2019. Adjunct Instruction involves teaching on a per course basis and the contract ends when the course ends. Further contracts, course assignments and appointments are determined on a semester basis.
Intro. to Digital Photography covers differences between film and digital cameras, the benefits and pitfalls of taking digital photographs, how to move your images from camera to computer, to a printer, or the web. Students will also learn how to use photographic techniques such as lighting and composition, and how to use the cameras automatic and manual settings. This course meets on Thursdays between 8:00 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.
Advanced Digital Photography: Technical skills using a wide variety of camera settings are covered, as is more advanced Photoshop techniques. Students will develop a keener artistic eye, greater creative capacity, and a broader range of photographic skills, such as night time.
Bachelor’s degree in the field or a closely related field. Individuals with an Associate’s degree and other forms of licensure or certification combined with a minimum of four (4) years related professional work or teaching experience would also be considered.
