LNA Classes begin Soon!

LRCC's next LNA course begins January 22, 2019. The full term course meets in the evening with weekend Clinical beginning March 2nd. We also have LNA courses beginning March 25th for 8 weeks and May 13th for 8 weeks. Receive your license after the succesful completion of the course and passing the end of course exam. Explorations in Printmaking

Explorations in Printmaking takes a look at a variety of printmaking techniques and the unique possibilities that they provide. This workshop will introduce monotypes, collagraphs, and relief prints, as well as the materials and tools used to create them.

College Students Organize Food Drive to Benefit Homeless Shelter

Student members of Lakes Region Community College’s Bennett Library Club organized a Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit the Belknap House, a homeless shelter in Laconia.  Students donated six boxes of food and three turkeys.

Lakes Region Community College will undergo a comprehensive evaluation visit from October 28 – 31, 2018 by a team representing the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE), formerly the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (CIHE) of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).

Bellydance Workshop

Have fun while getting fit and learning a new skill. Learn to execute all of the basic bellydance movements,

receive an understanding of the various rhythms used in middle eastern music, improve your strength, flexibility,

and muscle isolation abilities. Perform a short bellydance routine.

Medical Assistant Training begins January 22, 2019

LRCC's next Medical Assistant Training begins January 22, 2019. With a limit of 8 students, be sure to register or speak with someone now.

The Medical Assistant Program is WIOA (Workforce Investment Oppportunity Act) eligible. If you are unemployed or underemployed, visit your nearest New Hampshire Employment office and ask about their WIOA program.
