Join us Tuesday, March 5 from 7:30 am to 9 am at Lakes Region Community College (Academic Commons), 379 Belmont Road, Laconia, for a free networking breakfast to learn more about Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Businesses education program which is being offered with full a scholarship to selected small businesses.
The Three Rivers Foundation has selected Justine Short (Laconia) to receive a $2,400 scholarship. Ms. Short, a student at Lakes Region Community College in Laconia, is studying towards a dual major in Accounting and Hospitality Management. Ms. Short graduated from Spaulding High School in Rochester in June 2016, and began attending Lakes Region Community College in the fall of 2016.
Explorations in Printmaking takes a look at a variety of printmaking techniques and the unique possibilities that they provide. This workshop will introduce monotypes, collagraphs, and relief prints, as well as the materials and tools used to create them.

Student members of Lakes Region Community College’s Bennett Library Club organized a Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit the Belknap House, a homeless shelter in Laconia. Students donated six boxes of food and three turkeys.
