Graduation Information
Commencement Tickets
Thank you for completing the RSVP survey — your responses have helped us determine ticket distribution for the upcoming commencement ceremony. Tickets are now available and free of charge online through the Colonial Theatre.
Each graduate is allotted six guest tickets. Please note that additional tickets will not be available through the Colonial Theatre. If you’re in need of extra tickets, we recommend connecting with fellow graduates who may not be using all of theirs.

Cap and Gown- May 5th-May 16th 8:00am-4:00pm
Graduate may begin picking up their cap and gowns on May 5th in Turner Room 102 (Administration Office). When picking up your cap and gown, you will need to complete a graduation survey. The caps and gowns were ordered based on the height and weight provided on your intent to graduate form and there is no additional cost.
Commencement Rehearsal
Commencement rehearsal will be held at the Colonial Theatre, 609 Main Street, Laconia on Friday, May 16th at 10:00am. Rehearsal is mandatory for all graduates participating in commencement. Parking is located throughout downtown, and in the City Hall parking lot located on Beacon Street East. Students may enter the theatre through the main entrance.
Commencement
Commencement will be held on Saturday, May 17th at 11:00am at the Colonial Theatre, 609 Main Street, Laconia. Students and guests will be permitted to enter the theatre beginning at 10:00am. Students will enter the theatre through the Canal Street entrance and will be required to check in. Students should be dressed in their cap and gown to begin lining up at 10:30am. Family and friends are not permitted to enter through the Canal street entrance.

High Honors/Honors Designation
Gold tassels are awarded to graduates completing all requirements with a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 to 3.74. Gold cords and gold tassels are awarded to high honor graduates completing all requirements with a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 to 4.0. Gold tassels and cords are provided to graduates at check-in on the day of commencement. Designation of high honors/honors for summer graduates are confirmed in August, once all requirements have been completed. Summer graduates will not be provided gold tassels or cords the day of commencement. Once requirements are met, a gold tassel and/or cord will be mailed to you.

If you are a member of Phi Theta Kappa, you may order your PTK stole online at www.ptk.org.
